About the Role

The Enterprise Sales Engineer – Iberia will play a critical role in supporting Pentera’s Enterprise Sales team across Spain and Portugal. In this role, you will engage directly with prospects, introduce cutting-edge technology, and provide technical leadership throughout the sales process. This is a unique opportunity to gain deep experience in the Pentesting world, working with leading security teams in a wide range of industries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate deep understanding and technical knowledge in cybersecurity and enterprise environments
  • Lead customer engagements: introduction calls, deep-dive technical sessions, and product walk-throughs
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify leads, build strategies, and convert opportunities
  • Deliver product demonstrations (remote and in-person) to highlight both technical and business value
  • Work closely with channel partners to strengthen customer relationships
  • Analyze customer requirements and tailor Pentera’s solution to meet their needs
  • Represent Pentera at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings across Iberia
  • Support product evaluations, implementations, and post-sale success

Requirements

  • BSc. in Engineering (Cybersecurity, Software, Industrial, or Electrical); MBA is a plus
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, and enterprise IT ecosystems
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in presales, technical sales, or solution consulting roles is a plus
  • Willingness to travel within Iberia as needed


Requirements

  • 7+ years in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Professional Services role, preferably in a cybersecurity startup supporting enterprise accounts
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Networking and Systems (Linux, Windows, Cloud, Docker infrastructure, Active Directory, troubleshooting)
  • Strong foundation in IT infrastructure, including OS (Windows, Linux), Networks, and Active Directory
  • Deep understanding of network security concepts, cybersecurity methodologies, and Microsoft network protocols
  • Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable
  • Familiarity with the Penetration Testing field; practical experience is a strong advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical material to both small and large audiences
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a talent for building trust-based customer relationships and energizing technical conversations
  • Exceptional time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities
  • A collaborative team player who is self-sufficient, motivated, and friendly in approach
  • Availability for frequent travel across Spain and Portugal ( 50% of the time)
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken); Portuguese is strongly preferred
  • A self-driven, high-performing professional with a passion for continuous learning

Preferred Skills

  • Practical experience in penetration testing or vulnerability scanning – a significant advantage
  • Deep understanding of network security concepts
  • Experience with Microsoft network protocols
