Junior Manager - Forensics, E&I

JOB PURPOSE

•We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Manager - Digital Forensics - to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in conducting digital forensic investigations, analyzing digital evidence, and contributing to the overall security posture of our organization. 
•You will gain valuable experience working alongside senior forensic professionals and hone your skills in this critical field.
 

ORGANISATION CHART

This position will report to Head - Digital Forensics 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

-For investigations, collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence from various sources (e.g., computers, mobile devices, cloud storage) using industry-standard tools for and techniques and prepare detailed report ensuring technical accuracy.
-Adhere to SOPs, framework and guideline documents based on GMR Forensic Manual
-Research, develop, and implement Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions for digital forensics and tools.
-Review alerts generated from Data Loss Prevention tool and identified incidents of loss
-Experience in Malware Reverse Engineering would be an added advantage
-Conduct Open-Source Intelligence gathering on requirement basis

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interact with external consultants in case of incident response

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Coordination with the IT Security team in case of incident response

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

To support the Forensic department for the renewal of licenses of tool / certification of resources as per the allotted budget.

OTHER DIMENSIONS

• Skillful expertise for obtaining maximum possible relevant information from the incident analysis.
• Act as Junior Technical Manager for the Forensic lab based on the Forensic Manual.
• Be on look out for upskilling areas of Cyber Expertise.cts

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
3+ years of experience in digital forensics or a related field (e.g., incident response, security analysis).
Strong understanding of digital forensics principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in at least one digital forensics tool (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Autopsy).
Exposure to programming languages relevant to ML/AI
Strong attention to detail and meticulous work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
