Wells Fargo is seeking a Cybersecurity Technology Director that will be responsible for strategic leadership including technology application development across the global companywide, identifies and resolves abstract, systemic, cross-function issues impacting the effectiveness of the company's technology capability and builds support for strategies with senior business and technology leaders.
In this role, you will:
- Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads
- Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
- Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders
- Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans
- Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices
- Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers
- Identify financial management and strategic resourcing
- Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent
- Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
AI Capabilities Product Management
- Define and drive the roadmap for AI capabilities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features and functionalities based on business impact and feasibility.
- Monitor market trends and emerging AI technologies to identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Manage product lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment, including iterative improvements based on user feedback.
AI Use Case Development
- Engage stakeholders to identify, define, and prioritize AI use cases that align with strategic objectives.
- Conduct research and feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed use cases.
- Develop detailed business cases and prototypes to demonstrate potential value.
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to translate use cases into operational solutions
AI Model Development
- Lead efforts in developing, testing, and deploying AI models tailored to specific business needs.
- Ensure adherence to ethical AI practices, including fairness, transparency, and bias mitigation.
- Monitor and fine-tune model performance to achieve optimal accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure the availability and quality of training datasets
AI Agentic Tool Development
- Design and build AI-driven tools that empower users and enhance decision-making capabilities.
- Oversee the integration of agentic tools within existing systems and workflows.
- Ensure tools are intuitive, user-friendly, and deliver actionable insights.
- Incorporate feedback and analytics into continuous improvements for tool functionality and design.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
