Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Threat Analyst supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I). 

 

The SE&I Division serves as the principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of Defense. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) arm of the NC3 Enterprise Center, the division applies and remains up to date on systems engineering best practices and translates mission and operational requirements into appropriate technical specifications and solutions. SE&I also has the responsibility to apply established standards, and, when necessary, develop new standards, to ensure seamless interoperability across the NC3 enterprise. The SE&I is comprised of 3 branches:

  • Enterprise Sustainment & Evolution
  • Enterprise Performance & Capabilities
  • Enterprise Mission Management

Responsibilities

 

  • Assisting in threat identification and assessment, threat reduction measures, crisis management, consequence management, and training and performance support to inform NC3 mission engineering studies.
  • Conducting limited threat, vulnerability, and capability assessments including anti-terrorism scenario modeling and simulations as well as potential impacts of adversary tactics on NC3 communication systems.
  • Supporting vulnerability analysis of the NC3/National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) architecture and a variety of assessments (threat assessment, performance assessment, capability assessments, platform assessment and cyber threat assessments) of the NC3/NLCC Systems.
  • Identifying and implementing threat reduction measures including plans, policies, and procedures; risk management planning; physical and cyber security; and business continuity planning.
  • Performing consequence activities including disaster recovery, restoration of operations, logistics management, information recovery, medical support, and decontamination.
  • Publishing the annual NC3 Enterprise 'NC3 Scenarios' document, and quarterly update of ‘Threat Assessment' report.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must possess a TS at time of application with current or willingness to obtain SCI eligibility. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical fieldYears of Experience: 5 years relavent experience Additional Experience: 

Relevant experience in developing comprehensive solutions to threat related problems in any field, including environmental, domestic, or foreign

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Experience: NC3 experience a plus but not required 

 

Additional InformationLocation:  Fort Meade, Onsite, 5 days/week

Pay Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
