What You'll Do:
The Principal Vulnerability Management Engineer will be responsible for the engineering and implementation of solutions across the vulnerability management lifecycle – driving the identification, analysis, and remediation of security weaknesses in our infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. You will work closely with Operations, Development, and Leadership teams to streamline processes, assess risk, prioritize remediation efforts, and engineer scalable solutions that reduce our attack surface. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset to stay ahead of emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead enterprise vulnerability scanning and assessment efforts, ensuring comprehensive coverage across infrastructure, product, applications, and cloud environments.
  • Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, business impact, and threat intelligence enrichment. Drive automation & AI/ML initiatives where appropriate to ensure alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards.
  • Provide engineering and technical expertise on vulnerability management tools to assist with optimizing their configuration, scalability, and deployment at-scale.
  • Partner closely with both the technology and business teams to build out self-service capabilities related to vulnerability scanning and reporting.
  • Provide mentorship and skill building opportunities for junior members of the team.
  • Support metric creation and executive reporting related to vulnerability management effectiveness.
     
This Is the Job For You, If You Have:
  • 5+ years in cybersecurity specific roles with a focus on vulnerability management, compliance support, code development, & platform engineering. 
  • Proven experience implementing & engineering vulnerability management tools & platforms at scale.
  • Deep understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle including supporting technical remediation in large global complex environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business terms.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, GCTI, or similar preferred but not required.

The salary range for this position is approximately $130,000-$160,000 base annually. This range reflects our good faith estimate to pay fairly as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
