As a Security Administrator assigned to the executive floor of our financial retail client, your primary responsibility will be maintaining the integrity and safety of this sensitive area. What matters most in this role is your vigilance, professionalism, and ability to interact tactfully with high-level individuals in a high-profile environment. You will be the first point of contact for any visitors on the executive floor, ensuring only authorized personnel have access and maintaining a calm, controlled atmosphere at all times.

Responsibilities for Security Administrator

  • Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
  • Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
  • Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
  • Greeting any visitors and vetting reason for visit
  • Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
  • Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
  • Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
  • Must be able to provide high-end white glove customer service

Qualifications for Security Administrator

  • Must be authorized to work in Canada

  • Hold a valid security license

  • First aid certification (WSIB Approved)

  • Previous experience working in Security Administrator capacity 

  • Excellent report writing and communication skills

  • Strong focus and attention to detail

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and security monitoring systems

  • Ability to work discreetly and respectfully with executive-level personnel
