About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join the Global Technology and Security org – specifically Vulnerability management team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the security domain. The Security Intern will assist with a variety of entry level security tasks and will have an opportunity to work with several partner teams.

What You Will Do in This Role:

  • Review and correlate data from various systems to detect inconsistencies or gaps in coverage

  • Document all findings and progress to help establish a trusted and verified baseline

  • Participate in collecting and analyzing data and information relative to controls to support architecture review efforts

  • Participate in regular meeting to discuss findings of scanning of systems and networks to detect vulnerabilities and help assess associated risk

  • Review and improve documentation to ensure it is up to date

  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or a related field

  • Strong interest in the security domain

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Wry sense of humor a plus
