The Opportunity:

As a cyber warfare engineer, you understand the value of cyberspace operations. At Booz Allen, you can use your mission experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We’re looking for an experienced cyber specialist like you to apply your offensive cyber operations knowledge for the Space Force.  

In this role, you’ll be counted on to understand cyberspace capabilities to emulate threats. You will leverage your cybersecurity expertise to analyze, design, and develop tactics, techniques, and procedures to bolster the clients’ readiness. This is an opportunity to use your experience to assess the entire threat landscape. Then you’ll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, whitepapers, and milestones. You’ll work with your client to translate cyber concepts, so they can make the best decisions to advance cyber operators and mission effectiveness. You Have:

• 6+ years of experience working in offensive cyber operations, cyber exploitation, cyber red or purple teams, or in a role that utilizes a hands-on-keyboard, technical approach to supporting mission end goals
• 3+ years of experience in programming with Python, C/C++, Java, PowerShell, or Bash scripting
• 3+ years of experience with DoD cyberspace operations
• Experience with command-and-control platforms used for pentesting and red team engagements, including Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Brute Ratel, or Specter Insight
• Experience using custom methods for exploitation and post-exploitation operations, alternative tradecraft techniques, or living-off-the-land operations
• Experience building and operating virtual machines such as VirtualBox, VMWare, or Parallels
• Experience with cyber physical systems, architectures, and protocols
• Ability to be self-motivated, work independently and in a team environment, and mentor junior team members
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience conducting technical writing and presenting technical information to mixed skill level audiences, including non-technical and technical peers
• Experience with cyber threats detection and mitigation, and dynamic malware analysis
• Experience with malicious network traffic analysis
• Knowledge of military assessments, training evaluations, and after-action reviews (AARs)
• Ability to explain, present, demonstrate, and document the operational impact of a vulnerability or exploit
• Cyber Operations or Penetration Testing Certification such as CEH, GPEN, GPXN, PenTest+, or OSCP Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
