Summary

We are looking for a “System Engineer for Electronic Warfare (f/m/d)” for the “Spectrum Dominance System Engineering” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The “Spectrum Dominance System Engineering” department develops customer solutions in the field of electronic surveillance and electronic countermeasures for airborne and land-based systems and is responsible for the design, implementation, integration and acceptance.

We are also involved in national and European committees and customer working groups, where we represent the industry side in order to conceptualize future system solutions and define development roadmaps in the field of electronic warfare.

Your Tasks

• Development of future-proof and competitive systems on aircraft for monitoring and jamming radars or radio links 

• Analysis and definition of requirements

• Creation of architectures and technical concepts for complex distributed systems

• Definition of interfaces to other systems and platforms

• Modeling and simulation of system behavior

• Supporting system integration

• Carrying out laboratory, field and acceptance tests

• Collaboration on studies and research projects for future electronic warfare systems

Your Profile

• Degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or similar

• Several years of practical experience in systems engineering and system modeling

• Experience in system simulation is advantageous

• Sound knowledge in the field of electronic warfare, communication or radar

• Analytical-conceptual skills and systematic way of working

• Business fluent German and very good English skills
