What’s the opportunity?

The ET Systems Engineering & Change Manager is responsible for overseeing the engineering, operational management, and continuous improvement of the organization's technology systems while ensuring adherence to change management best practices. The role involves leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers to manage endpoint, SaaS, data, network, and identity security systems, focusing on risk reduction, efficiency, and staff development.

  • Ensure the effective management and evolution of ET systems while balancing security, operational efficiency, and compliance.

  • Oversee ITIL-aligned change management processes to mitigate risks associated with system changes.

  • Drive staff development, team performance, and collaboration across engineering disciplines.

  • Manage and deliver system improvement projects to enhance security and operational capabilities.

Here’s how you’ll do it:

Team Leadership and Coordination

  • Lead daily standups to track progress and align team priorities.

  • Monitor tasks and provide guidance to support team performance.

  • Conduct one-on-one meetings and mentor staff for growth.

Change Management

  • Run weekly CAB meetings to review and approve system changes.

  • Assess risks and implement mitigation strategies for changes.

  • Ensure compliance with ITIL change management processes.

Systems Engineering Oversight

  • Oversee security tools like MDM, EDR, DLP, and DSPM.

  • Update and analyze security metrics for devices, apps, data, and identity.

  • Manage and execute system improvement projects.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support

  • Work with IT, compliance, and other teams to align on projects.

  • Provide documentation and updates for audits and compliance reviews.

Problem Solving and Incident Response

  • Address escalated system or security issues promptly.

  • Perform root cause analysis to resolve recurring problems.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements.

Requirements

What you’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in ITIL, security, or systems management (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation) are highly desirable.

  • Proven experience in managing enterprise-level security systems, including MDM, EDR, DLP, and DSPM tools.

  • Strong knowledge of ITIL change management processes and best practices.

  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms, cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GWS), and security inventory management systems.

  • Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and facilitate collaboration across departments.

  • Experience in creating and managing project plans, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
