About the role
In this role, the engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure. Your primary tasks will include implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our organization's data and systems in the cloud. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enforce security policies and respond to security incidents, support engineers and other teams in Bolt with cloud security best practices.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Collaborating with fellow engineers and colleagues as a cloud security expert and advisor to support security requirements for cloud services.
- Managing Bolt’s cloud security posture.
- Managing AWS accounts through infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Enhancing Bolt’s existing logging, monitoring, and alerting for the cloud environments.
- Supporting in managing the risks within Bolt’s cloud environments. As well as developing and implementing cloud security governance frameworks and policies.
- Assisting in detecting, preventing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations across Bolt’s cloud environments.
About you:
- You are experienced in the Cloud Security scope, with strong previous professional experience in the field.
- You possess deep expertise in security cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP).
- You have solid Terraform skills.
- You may have developed knowledge Elastic Security and governance of Kubernetes.
- You have experience in identifying and remediating misconfigurations in cloud resources, including proactive vulnerability scanning and security hardening.
- You are a team player, with great communication skills, who works well with others in the team setting and with the rest of the organization.
