We are seeking an Electronic Warfare/Electromagnetic Spectrum Specialist to support our customer’s operations at Langley AFB, VA. This effort provides our Government customer with administrative and programmatic services. This position will be on-site and will require an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. 

Responsibilities:

• Build, manage, maintain, and update information systems (e.g. Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint sites), as well as build and maintain office continuity repositories, develop and schedule travel plans, and coordinate special projects
• Create, distribute, use, and dispose of official/classified media while performing records management functions in accordance with applicable regulations and controls
• Support the development, review, preparation, and coordination of Air Expeditionary Force policy, management of operational deployments, and Global Force Management activities and taskings
• Support readiness activities by reviewing, coordinating, and preparing Status of Resources and Training Systems and Defense Readiness Reporting System reports, development and management of Unit Training Codes, Designed Operational Capability statements, Mission Essential Tasks, Global Force Management Allocation Plan, associated Deployment Orders, and other Global Force Management activities
• Perform deliberate planning in crisis action planning using Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and the Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• US Citizenship
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Required Experience:

• 8 years’ operational mission experience in DoD aircraft performing duties as rated aircrew member operating EW Systems
• 5 years’ operational experience integrating EW, cyber, Informational Operations, space, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) effects
• 5 years’ experience managing DoD aircraft EW systems or related operations programs
• 2 years’ wing or higher staff experience managing EW and EMS programs desired
• Graduate of 563rd Flying Training Squadron (Randolph),453rd (Mather) Flying Training Squadron, or 479th Flying Training Group desired

Education and Certifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand, and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to workstation. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and the public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
