Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer who will play a pivotal role in our API security and management initiatives. You will lead a team of talented engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of GenAI-powered solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the security and efficiency of our API ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of GenAI-powered API security solutions and user experience.
- Enable automated API threat assessments and evidence validation.
- Ensure tooling is in place to address API vulnerabilities and manage risk factors throughout the API lifecycle.
- Collaborate with application owners, cybersecurity experts, and data scientists to design and architect data pipelines for API threat assessment.
- Oversee the integration of AI-powered validation workflow..
- Drive experimentation and batch mode processing using static data.
- Evaluate and enhance prompt management systems for live integration.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software engineering, with a focus on API security and management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native systems and API protection guidelines.
- Proficiency in GenAI technologies and tools (e.g., LangChain, Google ADK, Orchestra).
- Experience with data pipeline design and architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.

Pay Range
