The Position
Regulatory, Information Security, Sustainability & Quality Lead
Location: Almere and Woerden, Netherlands

What will you do?
As the Regulatory, Information Security, Sustainability & Quality (RISSQ) Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic framework that transforms and promotes the SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) & Sustainability agenda at Roche Diagnostics Netherlands. In this role, you will also drive the Quality & Regulatory (Q&R) and Information Security strategy across the organization.
You will play a key role in ensuring a safe working environment and in fostering a culture centered on sustainability, safety, and health. Your main responsibilities include:
Vision & Influence: Develop and implement a Sustainability & SHE strategy across Roche Diagnostics Netherlands and Roche Netherlands. Advocate strongly for strategic Q&R and Information Security objectives, and inspire internal and external stakeholders to achieve them.
Coaching & Development: Drive professional development within your team through coaching and by fostering collaboration in a high-performing organization.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with national, EU, and Roche-specific legislation and regulations in the areas of SHE, sustainability, quality, and information security. Oversee risk assessments and mitigation measures.
Strategy & Sustainability Initiatives: Lead initiatives focused on carbon reduction, waste minimization, and the promotion of a circular economy. Develop a vision and roadmap to position Roche as a sustainability leader, and actively participate in relevant industry initiatives.
Training & Awareness: Promote the development and delivery of RISSQ-related training and communication to enhance employee awareness and engagement.
Incident Investigation & Reporting: Oversee investigations into SHE-related incidents, perform root cause analyses, implement corrective actions, and report SHE performance both internally and externally.
Management Systems Oversight: Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of SHE management systems, as well as compliance with processes and systematic documentation. Lead the definition, monitoring, and reporting of SHE and sustainability performance across the organization.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, both internally and externally, to foster ownership and collaboration around RISSQ topics.
In this role you will be the lead of 6 direct reports.
Who are you?
You are a strategic and inspirational leader with extensive experience in driving SHE, sustainability, and quality initiatives. You know how to motivate and guide teams to reach ambitious goals and are not afraid to drive change when necessary. You also bring the following:
A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Hygiene, Safety Management, or a related field.
Proven experience leading SHE and sustainability projects, preferably within the pharmaceutical or medical diagnostics industry.
Solid knowledge of SHE and sustainability regulations and standards, such as CSRD, energy legislation, water management, and CO2 reduction.
Experience with quality management systems and compliance reporting.
Fluent in English, written and spoken. Dutch language is optional, but would give added benefit.
