Head of Security

We are looking for a Head of Security to join our fun-loving bunch and help us scale our information security management capabilities as we grow to serve more demanding customer segments, ensuring their trust in our business-critical projects and service delivery.

What is the job like, really? 🤔

As a Head of Security, you will play a pivotal role in leading our information security efforts and acting as its primary representative. Joining Vincit's Governance, Risk, and Compliance team, you will drive our security internally but also act as a trusted spokesperson for our customers and the media. At the same time, you will lead the implementation of the information security at Vincit, which includes taking care of relevant certifications and participating development of integrated management system for the parts relevant to ISMS.

Key responsibilities:

💫 Act as a spokesperson for security towards Vincit customers and media.

💫 Be a counterpart for Vincit customers’ security leaders.

💫 Manage information security partners by defining roles, responsibilities, and processes between SOC, DPO, and other IT security functions.

💫 Drive improvements in security best practices at the offering stage, including aspects Vincit requests from its customers.

💫 Hands on development of Vincit security initiatives, the integrated management system, and ongoing deliveries. 

What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced and articulate Head of Security to build and maintain strong security across our company and with our clients. We don’t expect you to be a unicorn, but the more you know about the following, the better. The ideal candidate has:

🎯 Extensive experience in senior Information Security roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of security principles and their strategic application.

🎯 Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Finnish and English, with the ability to confidently serve as the primary spokesperson on all security-related matters.

🎯 A proven track record of successfully implementing comprehensive information security programs within consulting environments.

🎯 Understanding of industry-specific security needs, especially for manufacturing and the public sector.

🎯 Familiarity with security within SAP, Microsoft ecosystems, custom development, and various cloud platforms (such as AWS, GCP, Azure), is a significant advantage.

🎯 Solid working knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001:2022, including its implementation and audit processes.

🎯 Familiarity with and the ability to apply common security frameworks, such as SOC-2, Vahti, KataKri, and PiTuKri, to ensure compliance and best practices.
