T-Rex Solutions is seeking a results-driven NOC Operations Lead / Deputy PM to support our USCIS contract. The program objective is to manage and provide technical operations and support services required to maintain and enhance Technical Operations Center O&M capabilities. The TOC supports the USCIS Enterprise Infrastructure on a 24/7/365 basis. In this role, the TOC provides support to the USCIS Enterprise Architecture which consists of 3500+ devices and 1,000+ voice and data circuits across the United States and OCONUS locations.

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in IT Operations leadership/subject matter expertise, with a strong background in systems management, IT operations and infrastructure, and team and program leadership. All work is performed on-site at Stennis Space Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical Operations Center Leadership and management in a 24/7/265 operations environment
  • Support overall program management responsibilities in an acting Deputy Program Management capacity
  • Build and manage an efficient and capable IT and Network operations center team
  • Lead and support in the following areas: enterprise monitoring, critical incident management, engineering and IT support, O&M support, program and project management, dashboard management and reporting, performance management and analytics
  • Ensure compliance with USCIS performance standards and federal IT best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of IT experience and a minimum of 5+ years of IT Project Management experience;
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain EOD Suitability
  • Proven experience in IT Operations management
  • Certification in at least one of the following:
    • CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert)
    • CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
    • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or equivalent
    • MCITP/MCSE (Microsoft Certified IT Professional/System Engineer)

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with performance monitoring tools such as New Relic, SolarWinds, Atternity, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL practices and incident analysis frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud performance analytics in AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $160,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
