Joining Ferring at our International PharmaScience Center (IPC) in Copenhagen, you will be a member of our Global Privacy Office. Our team is responsible for managing the company privacy program within the global Ferring organization, including documenting and risk assessing potential AI solutions.
We focus on data compliance holistically in close collaboration with IT Compliance, IT Security, and the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer and Group DPO. In collaboration with departments, 30+ local privacy ambassadors, local affiliates, and vendors, we ensure adherence to local privacy regulations and requirements.

Your day at Ferring
You will contribute to further implementing and developing our data protection framework throughout the Ferring Group. Among other things, you will help strengthen our privacy program by developing and maintaining the governance setup and administration of our privacy management platform, OneTrust.
Our Global Privacy Policy makes the GDPR the common standard for all Ferring entities globally, and our goal is to align with ISO 27001 and 27701, which you will help facilitate.
More specifically, you will:
Evaluate and advise the business globally on privacy risks associated with technologies, programs, and systems, providing realistic and operational solutions and preventative measures
Conduct data protection impact assessments
Serve as point of contact for business units and functions on issues related to building privacy into solutions, records of processing, drafting of privacy notices, and general privacy guidance and support
Support business units with data protection agreements, data transfer agreements, and standard contractual clauses
Help manage, investigate, and respond to privacy incidents, data subject access requests, and complaints, ensuring timely responses and compliance documentation
You will also plan and implement communication and awareness initiatives for Ferring employees globally, as well as support and train clinical personnel regarding the documentation of clinical trials. This includes working closely with local stakeholders for ICF and clinical agreement reviews.

Joining a small team with a broad reach, you should be comfortable adapting to shifting requirements and organizational changes and enjoy learning quickly.
You have demonstrated professional privacy expertise applied in programs, training, and tools.
You preferably have one or more privacy certifications, such as IAPP CIPM, CIPT, or CIPP(E).
You have a degree in e.g., business, law, or computer science.
Finally, it is a plus if you have experience in the pharmaceutical or health sector, and a security background would be advantageous.
