Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our IT department. This role is responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to align technological solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the IT department, including infrastructure, support services, and cybersecurity
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to support organizational goals
  • Manage IT budgets, project timelines, and vendor relationships
  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of IT systems and infrastructure (e.g., servers, networks, cloud      services)
  • Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems
  • Identify and mitigate potential security risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR,      HIPAA)
  • Analyze business requirements to determine appropriate technology solutions
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to IT staff; manage recruitment, performance reviews, and training
  • Coordinate IT support services to ensure high availability and minimal downtime
  • Monitor and report on key IT metrics and performance indicators
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
  • Document technical knowledge in manuals and IT documentation
  • Support the rollout of new applications and system updates
  • Liaise with third-party support and vendors for repairs and service escalations
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial      role
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies
  • Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco CCNA)      are a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with system administration, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and enterprise networking
  • Familiarity with IT compliance and audit requirements
  • Proven track record of managing IT projects from conception to implementation

Working Conditions:

  • A typical office environment with occasional travel between sites or remote facilities
  • May require on-call availability for emergencies or system upgrades outside regular hours
