Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps engineer who can help maintain the existing infrastructure and implement new features and best practices. You'll be responsible for the provisioning, operations, and management of AWS environments along with performing continual maintenance and providing highly complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems.

The successful candidate will grow and emerge as our company grows! As a DevSecOps Engineer you will work closely with the CTO, DevOps engineer and our software engineers to manage, sustain and monitor progress in our production systems.

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science/Computer Engineering, or any related domain.

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps.

• Proven experience with ECS in production environments.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.).

• Experience using and maintaining CloudFormation templates.

• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code and CI/CD principles.
• Hands-on experience managing on-premises servers and networks.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have :

• Oversee and manage network security devices, including firewalls, and VPNs.

• Ensure compliance with security best practices for systems, networks, and endpoints.

• Deploy and manage antivirus solutions for desktops, laptops, and servers.

• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and implement necessary hardening measures on AWS Resources

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions on AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Github Actions and other automation tools.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to automate and streamline release processes.
• Implement best practices for configuration management and infrastructure as code.
