Sentara Health is looking for an IT Program Manager – Cyber Product Management to join our team !The IT Program Manager – Cyber Product Management, Cyber Security Business Lines & Commercialization, will serve as an integral team member responsible for establishing the vision, developing and owning the product strategy, prioritization and deployment to support Sentara Health requirements. This role will serve as the lead product manager for cyber security products. The individual will establish a robust end to end operational support framework in collaboration with cyber security leadership, business partners and IT. This includes providing ongoing support to continuously enhance process efficiencies, reliability, and cyber security.
Primary Responsibilities
· Cyber security Product Strategy - Lead cybersecurity product development, define roadmaps, balance innovation with regulatory needs.
· Commercialization Execution - Deliver and refine POCs, manage vendor partnerships, legal updates, pricing, and go-to-market plans.
· Innovation Enablement - Translate business needs into scalable cyber solutions, partner with Product Owners to create actionable backlogs
· Agile Champion - Drive Agile adoption, training, backlog clarity, and MVP delivery.
· Portfolio Input & Prioritization - Bring a product view to project prioritization alongside PMO and operations, monitor KPIs, iterate based on feedback
· Documentation: Ensure cyber security processes and procedures are document and maintained.
· Cross-functional Collaboration: Own the short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.
· Customer Focus: Continuously prioritize based on customer needs, conduct interviews, elaborate on personas.
· Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership, engage frequently with development teams, manage backlog, collaborate with UX, Architecture, and engineering teams.
Education- BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree in -Computer and Information Science (Preferred)
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT program/project management.
- A minimum of 10 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product
- Strong Commercial Background with experience of working with external customers, sales, and prior experience in building commercial offerings
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is: $106,080- $176,820. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities."
