Privileged Access Management (PAM) & OT Cybersecurity Engineer

Boehringer Ingelheim is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer with a focus on Privileged Access Management (PAM) as well as Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be a key player in our global IT team, partnering with internal stakeholders to enable IT systems to utilize PAM solutions and maintain OT cybersecurity systems, thus supporting business objectives to enhance productivity, security processes, and system robustness. This role demands an individual who is an innovator, team player, with a global mindset, and the passion to drive changes within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• PAM & OT Cybersecurity Integration: Design, implement, and maintain IT systems that incorporate PAM solutions, ensuring they align with OT cybersecurity requirements.
• Consulting and Analysis: Regularly meet with IT colleagues and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements within PAM and OT cybersecurity realms. Make recommendations and implement solutions to meet organizational needs.
• Project/Solution Activities: Lead or participate in project teams, delivering on assigned tasks and action items related to PAM and OT cybersecurity.
• Technical Focus: Serve as an expert on existing PAM applications/systems, OT cybersecurity systems, and their underlying architecture. Influence technology decisions and identify advancements that could provide BI with a competitive edge.
• Maintenance and Support: Oversee the maintenance of OT cybersecurity systems, ensuring they are updated, optimized, and secure.
• Security Incident Handling: Respond to and manage security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage the process of addressing identified vulnerabilities within PAM and OT systems.
• Documentation: Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for both baseline and project activities related to PAM and OT cybersecurity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant Business or IT experience in a similar role
• Expert level of technical understanding and demonstrated knowledge in Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Operational Technology cybersecurity.
• Strong Knowledge of Delinea and Identity Management systems.
• Knowledge of Qualification Validaion is considered a plus
• Life Cycle Methodology: Working knowledge and experience with life cycle methodology required.
