Security Specialist (LUMI AI Factory)

Join our rapidly growing  LUMI AI Factory Service Center group in our mission to support leading research initiatives and develop open solutions for AI, using the largest AI platforms in Europe. LUMI AI Factory will deploy the largest European AI-optimised supercomputer,  develop, implement and support  advanced AI software solutions, integrate sensitive data services and provide environment for working on company confidential IPR. 

We are looking for Security Coordinator to strengthen our team and to work with LUMI AI Factory software solutions security.  The coordinator will be responsible for identifying and mitigating the security risks in AI Factory work. To ensure that security topics are covered the security coordinator will work closely with the CSC security team and align AI Factory work with CSC security principles. Security coordination is needed mainly for LUMI AI Factory projects that will develop, implement and support  advanced AI software solutions needed for HPC and AI and for projects assisting users in accessing and managing the data they need for their projects. The data includes also confidential and sensitive data.

Requirements

What we expect:

Your skill profile should involve experience in topics including:

• You have extensive experience with IT security so you are familiar with security frameworks and certifications, like ISO27k.

• Experience of Trusted Research Environments or Secure Processing Environments is valued.

• Finnish and English languages skills are needed.

• LUMI AI Factory is a European consortium, so experience of working as part of international multi-partner projects is also considered a benefit.

• Good coordination skills.

Further skills considered an asset include:

• knowledge of legislation related to security, data and AI

• Studies on security related sciences, like cyber security, information management, risk management

Good communication skills in verbal and written English are essential for teamwork and collaboration with our partners. Experience in working as part of international multi-partner projects is also considered a benefit. 

You have a self-motivated approach to working and enthusiasm for professional development. 

You enjoy collaborating with customers and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, ranging from researchers to companies within the AI sector. 

We are a non-profit company and base our development work on open source and open collaboration. The position is permanent and can be located in our Espoo or Kajaani office.
