Fitch Group is currently seeking an Associate Director, IAM Engineer to join our IAM team based out of our Chicago office.

 

As part of our dynamic Information Security group, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems, with a strong focus on IdentityNow and Delinea Secret Server, to support key business objectives such as security, risk management, and operational efficiency.

How You’ll Make an Impact:  

  • Strengthen automated privileged access controls to minimize unauthorized access risks and reduce manual tasks.
  • Design and implement enhanced service account lifecycle management processes and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with the IAM Program Manager to execute the strategic ambitions of the IAM team and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional collaborations to drive strategic initiatives and improvements in IAM and PAM systems.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for IAM and PAM services, providing expert support and troubleshooting of IdentityNow and Delinea Secret Server environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security posture and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage AI-driven technologies to innovate and enhance our security measures and streamline operational processes.

 

You May be a Good Fit if: 

  • 5-7 years of experience in supporting, deploying, and maintaining IAM and PAM systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with a focus on security and compliance.
  • Experience with API Integration (REST, SOAP) tools (e.g., Postman, curl, Python).
  • Understanding of directory integration for Identity Management, including Active Directory, LDAP, and Entra ID.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute complex projects in a cross-functional team environment.

 

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Proven experience with Delinea Secret Server and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (IdentityNow).
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting technologies such as Python, Git, Airflow, Docker, and Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge of database technologies like Oracle, SQL Server, and SQLite.
  • Experience with AI technologies and their application in driving security innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

FOR CHICAGO ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $145,000 and $155,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
