Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring an AOC Engineer to work in Langley AFB. The candidate must have an active secret clearance. 

This is position shall provide Air Operations Center Engineering support to assist the program manager in daily office efforts to develop, or perform management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program.  

Duties include, but not limited to: 

• Identify, collect, synthesize, organize, and manage organizational knowledge in support of portfolios and products across the branch
• Accumulate, understand, and leverage knowledge about the business activity on behalf of the organization and its stakeholders
• Building and organizing the company's conceptual assets into knowledge bases through wiki sites
• Gather inputs/documentation, draft responses and facilitate reporting processes to inquiries from various sources
• Assist in documenting and testing operational processes within/between applications to support analysis of operational threads within/between applications for integration and test
• Assist in performing in-depth validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures; analyze and/or evaluate results of major engineering systems
• Assist in performing in-depth program reviews to evaluate alternative proposed plans, systems engineering programs, design, and test results to assure that subsystem and system performance is achieved in accordance with program specifications
• Assist in performing and conducting in-depth reviews on program portfolio to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs/processes, manage/sustain program technical baseline, and design/perform system level tests to assure that subsystems and system performance is achieved in accordance with approved specifications
• Assist in performing and providing in-depth engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with AF SEAM processes
• Assist in performing and providing in-depth engineering support to conduct formal trade studies based on engineering performance, effectiveness, cost effectiveness, cost performance, life cycle cost, producibility, reliability, maintainability, risk, and schedule.
• Assist in performing and providing in-depth technical recommendation support services, including reviews, studies, audits, evaluations and analyses, scientific and procedural guidance, documentation, technical analysis, and support of associated engineering IPTs
• Assist in performing and providing in-depth proposal analysis support services that compare and quantify proposed systems, components, approaches for technical feasibility, compatibility, and cost effectiveness
• Assist in performing and providing product and application usability testing forKRADOS weapon system applications
• Assist in performing and providing support for stakeholder management and communication operations as a Kessel Run conduit to Air Force Air Operations Centers

Qualifications

• Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience. Additional YoE maybe considered in lieu of a degree.
• Apply Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) experience and expertise to support usability testing and user experience research and design
• Identify and maintain key documentation through wiki sites for the Operations Command-and Control (OpC2) branch needed to support the program
• Building and organizing the company's conceptual assets into knowledge bases through wiki sites

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

• Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
