About the role

We are seeking a Security Lead to spearhead our Security Operational Strategies, ensuring the protection of our digital and physical assets and compliance with regulatory requirements. As Security Lead, you will oversee cybersecurity initiatives, risk management, physical security, IT and OT governance, and business continuity planning; aligning our technology and security strategies with our mission to drive the green transition.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy to safeguard data for the company and its stakeholders across OT and IT.
• Build and manage the Security team, including budget and staffing responsibilities.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives to protect against threats, vulnerabilities, and cyberattacks.
• Establish security policies and frameworks in compliance with industry regulations such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIS2, and GDPR.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and emerging threats, ensuring rapid mitigation and recovery for IT, OT, and physical assets.
• Collaborate with IT and OT suppliers to ensure a secure IT infrastructure aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments, identify gaps, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Advise executive leadership and the board on security and risk matters, fostering a culture of security awareness among employees.

Who are you: 

• Over 5 years of experience in IT or OT security, cybersecurity, or information technology leadership roles.
• Proven track record of implementing security frameworks and managing enterprise security programs.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, cloud security, network security, and data protection.
• Experience with compliance standards such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIS2, and GDPR.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies (e.g. firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption, IAM, SIEM).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA) are preferred.
• Experience in implementing security frameworks within the energy sector is highly advantageous.
