This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. (Optional: Use if Remote Type is Hybrid)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead a team of analysts, engineers, and architects. Support the Program Manager with the development, maintenance, review, and submission of contract deliverables.
Collaborate with Operations Administrators, Project Teams, ISSOs, ISSM, Management, & Leadership in efforts to prepare documentation required to obtain and maintain ATOs including Self-Assessments, Risk Assessments, and Annual Security Reviews IAW Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Collaborate with other teams [to include corporate and government management, corporate and government leadership, sub-contractors, and other Defense Health Agency (DHA) contractors internal and external to the customer organization] in a typical cross-functional IPT approach specific to mitigating vulnerabilities and providing engineering support to correct software coding deficiencies.
Work closely with the cognizant ISSMs, and the DHA Cybersecurity teams to gather and prepare required information for System Authorization and to maintain the DML-ES systems security posture.
Participate in A&A testing/Security Control Assessment testing and assist in the preparation of necessary documentation following these tests to ensure systems attain the appropriate certifications and authorizations to operate.
Review and implement applicable STIGs/SRGs/benchmarks for assigned DML-ES applications, systems, and environments quarterly in support of continuous monitoring. Review and monitor recurring ACAS scans for assigned DML-ES applications, systems, and environments weekly/monthly in support of continuous monitoring.
Document the technical procedures required for assigned DML-ES applications, systems, and environment compliance with the DoD STIGs/SRGs/benchmarks. Assist in the management of the changes that result from the application of STIGs/SRGs/benchmarks/ACAS scans and follow applicable processes and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution. Six years’ experience in a related field in addition to one of the following current certifications are required: Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, GSEC, FITSP-O, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, or CCSP may be substituted for a degree.
Experience providing Cybersecurity support within DoD and/or VA environments; experience with DoD and/or VA Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Current working knowledge and experience with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Service (eMASS), Assured Compliance Assessment (ACAS), Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS), Trellix [i.e. Host Based Security System (HBSS)].
Experience with Security Event & Incident Management (SEIM) tools (e.g. LogRhythm, Splunk).
A working knowledge of the various operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, etc.) commonly deployed in enterprise networks, a conceptual understanding of Windows Active Directory is also required, and a working knowledge of network communications and routing protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP, ICMP, BGP, MPLS, etc.) and common internet applications and standards (e.g., SMTP, DNS, DHCP, SQL, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.).
Experience with the identification and implementation of countermeasures or mitigating controls for deployment and implementation in the enterprise network environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) RMF and DoD Instruction (DoDI) 8510, "Risk Management Framework for DoD Information Technology.
Experience as a Cybersecurity analyst with federal agencies. Experience in DevSecOps practices.
DoD logistics experience (DMLSS, LogiCole).
Master's Degree is Cybersecurity or Information Security.
Familiarity with cloud security monitoring (e.g., AWS, Azure). An understanding in researching Emerging Threats and security tools.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen and willing to obtain and maintain a DOD Public Trust and undergo a Tier 3 investigation with favorable results prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and clients, which may involve delivering presentations ad must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The projected compensation range for this position is $126,300.00-$210,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
