Optimiza is looking for a strategic and experienced IT Governance professional to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that our IT strategies align with business goals, as well as managing risk and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of governance frameworks and the ability to implement and monitor governance practices effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and assess compliance with internal and external governance standards, providing guidance and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in IT governance practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks associated with IT processes and projects.
  • Prepare and present reports on governance and compliance status to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead training and awareness programs on governance best practices for IT staff and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to IT governance, risk management, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or compliance roles within the IT sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL), risk management methodologies, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR).
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing IT governance strategies and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CGEIT) are highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
