As a Sr Endpoint Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Essential Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of the innerworkings of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) Suite of products.
  • Defender Antivirus (AV)
  • Defender Endpoint detection and response (EDR)
  • Defender Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Strong knowledge on client health for the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager Client (SCCM)
• Assess workstations performance issue and determine if it is caused by MDAV or MDE
• Leverage reports, logs, scripts, and Microsoft provided tools such as Procmon, MDEClientAnalyzer, Performance Recorder/Analyzer. Should be able to analyze output/logs produced by these tools.
• Act as a first line in responding to MDAV, MDE, MECM Solv incidents/requests.
• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts on complex issues (MDAV, MDE, MECM)
• Participate in root cause analysis for incidents when required. 

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Associates degree or relevant certifications.
• 5+ years of IT experience, with 2+ Years of experience with SCCM and or Intune.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender AV & Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Experience with following service management concepts, including change management, configuration management, and release management.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong troubleshooting skills (Mostly utilizing client and system logs)
• Strong knowledge of WMI and Windows Installer.
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting language.
