About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Information Security Analyst in Cyber Security as part of Identity Access Management (IAM). Learn more about career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Governance and Policy Adherence team is responsible for the management of IAM policy requirements and overall adherence monitoring, inclusive of customer security. This role is responsible for the IAM policy management lifecycle including the needs assessment, content development, and reviews leading complex discussions and decisions from both a strategic and technical perspective. The IAM Policy Lead will collaborate with technical SMEs and executives to ensure policy is aligned with the IAM strategy, financial service industry standards and best practices, and is practical and enforceable. This role requires a strong understanding of the technical aspects of IAM solutions, tools, and practices as well as policy governance.


In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical oversight of the Information Security IAM Domain Policy program
  • Assess and align IAM Policy with financial service industry standards (e.g. NIST, FFIEC) and security best practices (e.g. Zero-Trust)
  • Consult with line of business on the consistent implementation and adherence of IAM Domain Policy and technical solutions to remediate information security risks
  • Evaluate technical aspects of IAM solutions, tools, and practices to establish practical and enforceable policy
  • Ensure that risks to information assets meet IAM Domain Policy requirements and adherence gaps are managed in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure IAM capabilities are included appropriately in the company's technology architecture
  • Engage with many levels of professionals and managers, including executives, companywide and serve as an advisor to senior leadership
  • Monitor adherence with IAM policies and identify areas for policy improvement.
  • Stay current with emerging IAM technologies and trends (e.g. cloud IAM, Passwordless authentication, DevSecOps) and incorporate them within IAM policy


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 7+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management
  • 2+ years of experience in policy development and implementation


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong Subject Matter Expertise (SME) experience with IAM principles, technologies, solutions, industry standards and best practices
  • Experience with IAM tools and technologies (e.g., Okta, Azure Entra, PAM, IGA, MFA )
  • Experience with cloud IAM platforms and related technologies (e.g., Azure, Azure Entra, GCP)
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices and integration
  • Experience with Policy-as-Code Tools (e.g. Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of emerging IAM technologies, such as decentralized identity, blockchain-based identity, and passwordless authentication
  • Experience with automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML)
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding with security controls and risk management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP)

Pay Range

$120,400.00 - $250,000.00
