Overview
The NA lead reports to the IAM Manager who has overall responsibility for access to platforms globally. The scope of project involvement, security and technical processes, and the expectation of highly developed leadership skills of the associate in this position will be required to drive common global objectives, process improvements/automations and ensure customer experience within SLAs and compliance with Security policies. The position also will be responsible for ensuring the timely communication and delivery of IAM services for North America sector and serve as the primary contact for the business.
Responsibilities
- SME for IAM Access Delivery across global systems
- Lead process optimization efforts across IAM access provisioning, application integrations, operations support, and governance processes (work in-take, issues resolution, access certification governance)
- Drive customer experience improvements across IAM processes
- Ensure standards compliance for access provisioning across global systems drive violation remediation
- Understand and document end to end identity lifecycle management, gaps and risks
- Liaison for IAM services across North America and global business
- Partner with GPEX and Security GRC teams to manage IAM controls landscape ensuring compliance to policy/standards for IAM processes
- Drive and monitor appropriate role management across key systems including SOD
- Monitor user, service, system, privileged, BOT, account access across key systems
- Drive communications of IAM initiatives across global sector and support teams
- Manage and govern key IAM work intake processes
- Lead and mentor junior members and sector SMEs
- Provide subject matter expertise for access processes, governance, user management etc. enabling appropriate governance controls and compliance for access.
- Enable access provisioning team to meet AOP and project deliverables
- Drive process improvement initiatives across all IAM services, partnering with technical leads to develop requirements and ensure timely delivery
- Ensure process governance across IAM services such as quarterly SOX and recertification reviews, vulnerability management, etc.
- Proactive monitoring of standards compliance, identify gaps and drive remediation with business on violations
- Assist the business in the creation of proper access requests as needed for applications migrate to proper control process
- Propose solutions for project requirements to ensure alignment with global Security and IAM standards
- Ability to lead cross functional workstreams effectively influencing stake holders to ensure compliance with standards
- Troubleshoot logon and access permission issues, to enable successful application and project timelines
- Provide guidance and expertise in PepsiCo wide application outages and engage appropriate teams for resolution
- Coordinate initiatives, provide training, and communicate security, IAM mandates user populations and/or helpdesk
- Knowledge of Project Lifecycle methodologies and experience leading projects
- Monitor the SOX controls for IAM global functions ensuring remediation of violations
- Control Owner for access provisioning SOX control processes
- Review ID violations ensuring consistency across other sectors partnering with peers
- Liaison with business and controls on access compliance
- Advocate MyidM Access request processes in compliance with security policies and audits
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 - $149,000.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Years of experience:
- Minimum 7+ years of I/T security experience or relevant certifications
- 4 year Undergraduate degree (preferred)
Technical skills:
- 7+ years of information security or IT experience with a knowledge of IAM
- Advanced understanding of user life cycle management, access certifications and role-based access control
- Technical SME expertise in Identity and Access Management technologies - CA Identity Manager, CA Identity Governance, CA Directory, Okta
- 4 years’ experience in PowerShell or UNIX scripting will be a plus
- Experience working on Linux, Windows platform
- Senior professional with experience and knowledge in Identity and Access Management field
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience working with Directories and Databases. CA and Oracle Directory experience is preferred
- Understanding and knowledge of monitoring tools
- Knowledge of audit and privileged access administration
- Knowledge of security policy and specific standards
Non Technical:
- Understanding of business processes associated with identity and access management lifecycle and ability to design and implement solutions that meet complex business requirements preferred
- Ability to drive resolution for issues that arise within complex and high-risk applications
- Ability to effectively translate technical information between vendors, IT management and other internal and external IT teams.
- Ability to work with all levels of management to define requirements associated with IAM services, incorporating security best practices.
- Experience working with different stake holders globally across different levels
- Ability to build project plans, translate directives, and present project deliverables to IAM Leadership
- Advanced understanding of the broader impact of Information Security from a business perspective
- Experience managing delivery teams across internal and external associates
- Excellent communications skills both oral and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and recommend alternatives
- Excellent follow-up skills with attention to details ensuring closure on open items
