This role is hybrid (in the Bangalore office 3 days/week)

We play a pivotal role in shaping the way our organization and channel partners engage with our products. We are responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of operational demo and sandbox environments that serve as the cornerstone for internal testing, partner enablement, and customer demonstrations.

Our environments provide a secure, isolated space where new features, integrations, and attack workflows can be tested without impacting others.

By managing these environments, we ensure that both internal stakeholders and external partners have access to up-to-date, functional replicas of our systems. This facilitates effective training, troubleshooting, and collaboration, ultimately enhancing the overall user experience and fostering stronger partnerships.

We are seeking a System Administrator to join our Technical Marketing team. As a key member of our 6-person team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain Linux (Ubuntu, Kali), Windows (Servers, Workstations) and VMware environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Cloud Operations: Manage and optimize resources in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including compute, storage, networking, and security configurations.
  • Automation & Configuration Management: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, and Ansible to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Support: Develop, support and enhance continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Monitoring & Incident Response: Use monitoring solutions and ticketing system to respond to system alerts and incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and configurations; ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs and provide technical guidance as required.
  • Demo & Sandbox Environment Management: Design, deploy, and maintain operational demo and sandbox environments used internally and by channel partners. This includes:
    • Environment Design: Architect isolated environments that replicate production systems for safe testing, training, and demonstrations.
    • Customization: Tailor environments to meet specific use cases, ensuring they are representative of real-world scenarios.
    • Automation: Implement automation to reset environments between sessions, ensuring consistency and reliability.
    • Access Control: Manage user access to environments, ensuring secure and appropriate permissions.
    • Monitoring & Maintenance: Regularly monitor and update environments to reflect the latest product features and improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Operating Systems: Experience in Linux (Ubuntu, Kali) and Windows (Server, workstation) administration.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash; experience with Ansible for configuration management.
  • Web Development: Familiarity with React.js and JavaScript for developing internal tools and dashboards.
  • Version Control & CI/CD: Experience with Git and CI/CD tools; understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Monitoring & Security: Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, CloudWatch, ) and security best practices.
  • Collaboration Tools: Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other collaboration platforms.
