Cybersecurity Exercises Lead

Overview

Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Training Specialist to lead complex cybersecurity exercises and drills for a large Federal client.

**Due to the nature of the contract and work, US Citizenship is required**

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and score cybersecurity exercises based on real world threats associated with sophisticated nation state adversaries
• Coordinate with multiple team across to organization to develop detailed exercises
• Design exercises to test the effectiveness of the SOC’s tools, processes, procedures, and skills
• Deliverables include lifecycle documents to include after-action reporting, lessons learned, and process improvement plans
• Manage junior cyber exercice specialists

Qualifications

• BA degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 4 years of experience conducting cybersecurity training exercises
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Cybersecurity Experience
  • Working knowledge of Mitre ATT&CK
  • Development of Incident Response playbooks
  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading cyber incident response drills and exercises
  • Experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence lifecycle

Preferred:

• Cybersecurity experience in large organizations (>30k endpoints)
• Previous experience working in a 24x7 SOC environment
• Experience with complex cyber range infrastructure
