Product Owner Developer Platform & Application Security Team

As a Product Owner for our Developer Platform & Application Security (AppSec) team, you will lead the vision and roadmap for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and application security, enhancing the developer experience across the company. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Translate strategic plans into team Objectives & Key Results (OKRs).
• Act as a servant leader, promoting self-organization within the team.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to facilitate a prioritized and focused way of working.
• Create and refine the product backlog, setting priorities and monitoring progress with Scrum Masters.
• Develop and implement the CI/CD, developer platform and AppSec strategy and roadmap, aligning with business goals.
• Ensure the security and compliance of CI/CD pipelines and processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Establish and track KPIs and metrics to measure CI/CD, developer platform and AppSec effectiveness and efficiency.
• Close collaboration with the Cloud & Infrastructure team to deliver cloud-ready infrastructure templates, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
• Oversee the integration and management of developer platforms such as Backstage to streamline developer workflows and improve productivity.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Our Ideal Product Owner :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing teams of software engineers or developers.
• Has a strong understanding of development processes and best practices.
• Technical knowledge: CI/CD & DevOps Tools (GitLab CI, FluxCD, Nexus, Jira Xray), Cloud & Kubernetes (AWS, Docker/Kaniko/BuildKit, Kubernetes, Helm, Harbor, OCP/OKE), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), Observability & Monitoring (ELK, Dynatrace, Splunk), Security & Compliance (SAST (e.g., Snyk)/DAST, SonarQube), Scripting & Automation (Python, Bash, Go, YAML, JSON, React, Node, WireMock, Playwright), Developer Platforms (Backstage).
• Has a thorough knowledge of application security practices and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a large telco or telecom environment is an advantage.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is an asset.
