What does a successful Director of Information Security do at Fiserv?
A successful Director of Information Security at Fiserv establishes and maintains the organization's security governance framework and controls. They ensure security policies and procedures are effectively implemented and align with organizational objectives. This role requires strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and expertise in cyber governance and cloud cybersecurity. The director promotes a culture of security compliance by engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels through exceptional leadership and communication skills.

What you will do:

• Implement and maintain an information security governance framework that supports organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and communicate security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and governance across the organization.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve security awareness and promote a culture of security compliance throughout the organization.
• Report on the state of information security governance, risks, and compliance to executive management and the board of directors.
• Foster continuous improvement of security programs through ongoing evaluation and implementation of feedback and lessons learned.

What you will need to have:

• 8+ years of experience in developing, implementing, and managing security policies, frameworks, and controls.
• 4+ years of experience in cyber governance and cloud cybersecurity.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC) are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in information security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; master’s degree preferred, and/or equivalent military experience.

What would be great to have:

• 5+ years of experience with payment products and the ability to identify solutions for cybersecurity-related issues.
• 4+ years of experience managing cyber risks with a proactive approach.
• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity application practices and governance.
• 6+ years understanding of the industry best practices and trends in cybersecurity.
