Associate Compliance Analyst

Job Description

Assists the Information Security and Compliance teams with governance, risk assessment, and compliance activities to ensure QAD continues to comply with information security compliance and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do:

1. Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Management:

• Vendor Risk Management; works with QAD vendors for periodic security risk assessment by collecting and verifying compliance certificates/reports
• Assists and administers security awareness training for QAD employees and contingents using learning portals.
• Assists the compliance team in collecting evidence from the global teams for external compliance audits

2. Process/Policy Management:

• Assists with updating process and policy documents that are needed for compliance audits
• Works with a document management tool to ensure all needed documents are periodically updated and, works with the global teams in following-up with them for documents review/update

3. Continuous Learning:

• Develops foundational skill and knowledge on security and compliance standards and frameworks.
• Learns about changes in industry compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Learns to perform internal security audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, IS, Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
• Any certificates in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Information Security standards, etc.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 6-24 months of Industry Experience with basic understanding or academic exposure to concepts in Compliance, Information Security, or Quality Management.
• Interest in learning about industry compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SSAE18 SOC, NIST, etc)
• Interest in progressing career in information security compliance
• Computer skills: Familiarity with using document, slides and spreadsheet tools/softwares

Other knowledge:

• Good interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and under guidance/supervision
