DevSecOps Security Operations Analyst

Drive security integration within the DevOps pipeline whilst supporting cybersecurity operations to ensure security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and maintain robust security posture.

Responsibilities:

• Develop automation and processes to enable teams to deploy, manage, scale and monitor their applications in on-prem and cloud environments.
• Manage monitoring tools of infrastructure performance, utilization and health.
• Implement and support the configuration management system for business continuity management and automate disaster recovery measures.
• Develop scripts and setup up necessary tools used to build, integrate and deploy system solutions to various platform, including development and production environment.
• Monitors and manage the overall system security architecture for various applications. Assist in security architecture reviews for new applications.
• Support threat and risk assessments and applies secure configuration profiles to systems.
• Support security checks such as infra level VA and troubleshooting.
• Implement security practices that comply with standards to protect the organisation’s data and infrastructure.
• Perform security incident investigation and response
• Maintain security documentation and runbooks
• Support threat hunting and vulnerability management programmes RESTRICTED
• Collaborate with development teams to implement security requirements early in SDLC
• Regular interaction with development, operations, and security teams
• May require occasional off-hours work during incidents or planned maintenance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT/Security with DevOps exposure
• Strong programming skills in at least one language (Python, Java, JavaScript )
• Experience with:
• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• CI/CD tools (GitLab CI)
• Version control systems (Git)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Container security and orchestration
• Application security testing tools
• Security automation and orchestration
• Cloud-native security controls
• API security testing and management
• Infrastructure as Code security
• Logging and monitoring solutions
• SIEM platforms and security tools
