Amentum is seeking an Intermediate ISSE to join our team of passionate individuals in Columbia, MD. In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation’s security and intelligence mission.

Your Impact:

As the Intermediate ISSE on a dynamic team, you will perform technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations and recommend mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the Government in the design, development, implementation and/or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components
• Provides the Government assistance to ensure that the architecture and design of information systems are functional and secure
• Applies knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking and computing environments

 

Here's What You'll Need:

 

Requirements:

• Twelve (12) years of IASAE experience, to include, recent experience within the last five (5) years, with Defense-in-Depth principles and technology, including access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), network, and enterprise security architecture
• Two (2) years of experience applying security risks assessment methodology to system development, including threat model development, vulnerability assessments, and resulting security risk analysis
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering is desired and may be substituted for four (4) years of experience
• Knowledge of Federal, NSA, IC, and DoD Information Security regulations, publications, and policy

Clearance Required: 

• TS/SCI w/Poly

Required Certifications:

• This is an IA WIP Billet per DoD Directive 8570 and must meet specified certification requirement of IASAE Level II defined and documented by the TTO COR.

The base salary range for this position is $210k to $230k. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
