Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Springfield, VA. 

CLEARANCE

• Active Top Secret/SCI Eligible clearance (existing clearance required to start)

• Supports IT Operations and Maintenance (O&M) server team by managing enterprise-level, high performance, highly available server technology solutions (systems, applications, and services)
• Responsible for:
  • Configuring, troubleshooting, administering, and maintaining Windows, Linux, and Citrix server environments
  • Monitoring and administering cross domain solutions (CDS)
  • Developing and deploying automated mechanisms to enhance operational efficiency
  • Utilizing system configuration and monitoring tools (e.g., Active Directory, MECM, SolarWinds)
  • Drafting requests for change (RFC) and analyzing submissions
  • Developing technical documentation including diagrams, SOPs, workflows, and run books

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 or more years of progressive, hands-on experience maintaining Enterprise information systems as a systems administrator or systems engineer
• Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining Windows, Linux, and Citrix environments across an enterprise
  • Operating and maintaining access and transfer cross domain solutions (e.g., Secureview, Trusted Thin Client, Trusted Gateway System, X-ARBITOR, high speed guard)
  • Automating deployment and maintenance activities using custom scripts and automation tools (e.g., Ansible Automation Platform, PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Applying and maintaining Government-standard security configurations based on SRGs and STIGs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Meets minimum credential requirements for a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) position: System Administrator (451); Intermediate Level per SECNAV M-5239.2
• Certifications (one required):
  • CompTIA Security+ ce; or
  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC); or
  • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with a variety of IT devices, applications, and technologies (e.g., Cisco, Nutanix, VMware, Splunk, Trellix, Ivanti, ACAS, Rapid7)
• Understanding of ServiceNow functionality, capabilities, and integration points
• Familiarity with concepts, implementation, and operations associated with DevSecOps in an enterprise environment
