The services we operate are of a global nature, providing service solutions to multiple business units, totaling over 100,000 users located around the world. Thus, one of our team’s role is to communicate efficiently with all the stakeholders and customers in different countries.
The new DAPI Senior Security Solutions Engineer will become a member of our agile and strong team and his role will be to monitor, analyze, configure, improve and report on those services to ensure they meet the needs of the business, function well within the GSK environment, are cost effective and align with the strategic direction of the service line. The DAPI Senior Security Solutions Engineer will be responsible for analyzing user reported incidents and requests, finding patterns, forecasting trends, ensuring each service operates properly, meets the SLA and aligns with the changing needs of the business. Senior Security Solutions Engineer will provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations based on his experience and analytical insight into current operations and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide value as part of a Platform Support Engineering team within the Global Cyber Defense department by leading the delivery of complex tasks and coordinating projects.
Implement technical and business requirements for data and application protection solutions, participate in project design, documentation and reporting processes.
Participate actively in Change Approval Boards, risk assessments, audits.
Contribute to process designs, service definitions, service models, and service/operational level agreements.
Cooperate with Compliance and Auditing teams to provide reporting and evidence.
Facilitate complex technology changes on multiple platforms with global customers.
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities based on data.
Manage Web Application and API Firewalls as well as Database Firewalls on premise and in the cloud.
Take part in investigations related to unauthorized activities on key assets (externally facing servers, Digital Crown Jewels data).
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems and/or related areas.
At least a year of relevant experience dealing with cyber security incidents.
Advanced English.
Knowledge of network architecture and network security that includes industry best practices related to cyber security strategies.
Strong technical experience including Windows and Linux/Unix OSes, Azure or GCP Cloud as well as centrally managed security systems.
Experience in creating security systems’ policies and rules, alert analysis, triage, audits.
Experience with Security Incident analysis.
Nice to have: CISSP, OSCP, SSCP, CompTIA Network+ or Security+, CEH.
