A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Executive Manager Big Data Lake DevSecOps, reporting to the GM DevSecOps Data & AI - Corporate Technology.

 A bit about your role

As the Executive Manager Big Data Lake DevSecOps at nbn, you will lead the DevSecOps pipeline for our IT portfolio. You will collaborate with various teams to balance client needs with long-term goals, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of IT products. Your role will involve maintaining system security, quality, and performance, while establishing operational frameworks to support effective responses to system issues. You will nurture a high-performing team aligned with nbn’s strategy, guiding them to achieve business outcomes and ensuring integrated solutions for business customers.

You will ensure the on-time and on-budget delivery of IT products, such as data capabilities to support business use cases. By understanding and representing the business outcomes, you will guide the delivery teams to achieve these outcomes. You will work collaboratively with peers and feature teams to ensure integrated solutions and a seamless experience for business customers. Ensuring the security, quality, and performance across IT systems, you will maintain systems reliability and availability to meet or exceed nbn standards.

A bit about you

You have tertiary qualifications in IT or equivalent experience, with Agile certifications. You bring extensive experience in IT and DevSecOps, particularly in telecommunications. Your skills include automation testing, continuous integration and delivery, API integrations, and working with Amazon Web Services. Your ability to build effective relationships and ensure user needs are met will be key to your success.

Your experience in delivering enterprise data, influencing and upskilling senior leaders, and fostering enterprise-wide buy-in will be crucial. You will have experience with relevant commercial off-the-shelf software and Big Data solutions in Amazon Web Services. Your expertise will include automation testing using tools like Cucumber and Selenium, continuous integration and continuous delivery frameworks, Jenkins and Git, API integrations (REST, SOAP), and experience building RESTful web services using Java.
