Zero Trust Policy Analyst

The Opportunity: 

When our country’s cybersecurity is on the line, simply reacting is not enough—we need a plan. And when that plan needs to protect our Navy's IT ecosystem, we need Zero Trust policy. That’s why we need you, a cybersecurity policy specialist with the skills to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.

As a cybersecurity policy specialist on our team, you’ll assess the Navy's current Zero Trust policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You’ll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you'll work with the client to support the transition of legacy network-centric architectures to Zero Trust (ZT) models.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, RMF, and federal security compliance policy

  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architectures

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Ability to leverage technical knowledge, analytics, and communication to develop and brief material to senior client leadership to support decision making

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Navy staff as military, civilian, or contractor such as in Navy Systems Commands (SYSCOMs)

  • Experience with Navy IT systems and databases

  • Knowledge of Navy cybersecurity policies

  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent organizational skills 

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
