Professional with professional experience as a Security Engineer (Palo Alto).

Required Skills:

• Troubleshooting: TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, Unified Communications
• Layer 2 Technologies: STP, vPC, SPAN, VxLAN
• Layer 3 Technologies: QoS, MPLS, OSPF, BGP
• Security Technologies: IPsec, Next-Gen Firewall

Qualifications

• Manage and ensure the effectiveness of security solutions.
• Monitor and test device performance, including performing packet captures to assist in troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Participate in the resolution of major critical incidents.
• Participate in technical training and mentoring other members of the global team.
• Working knowledge of the following equipment and applications: Cisco routing and switching, F5 load balancers, TACACS+/Radius, Palo Alto Networks firewall, Nexus, WAN acceleration, and multi-vendor networking hardware and software environments.
• The primary focus areas for Perimeter Security are Firewalls (Cloud, Physical, Virtual, WAF), Proxies, IPS, and VPN. This includes, but is not limited to, Major Incident Response and Resolution, Solution Tuning and Maintenance, Junior Staff Mentoring, Security Posture Improvement, Operational Projects, and Overall Operational Process Improvement.
• Experience in Web Application Protection (WAP), networks and firewalls
  Has proficient experience with Web Application Firewalls, signatures, policy tuning, administration, as well as best practice design and implementation.

Qualifications

• Certification(s) Preferred: CCNP, CISSP, PCNSE, Palo Alto Certifications, Splunk

Differential:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, or Risk and Compliance related field. In addition, industry certifications are welcome; and Must speak, read.

Language

• Advanced English for conversation
