The Role:
As a Channel Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our enterprise customers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland by collaborating with both Channel Partners and internal Account Teams. You’ll be instrumental in designing and delivering solutions that address the most critical cybersecurity challenges faced by our clients. This hybrid role involves direct partner engagement, pre-sales engineering support, and strategic enablement—bridging the gap between product capability and market execution.
You will lead complex proof of concept projects, deliver tailored demos, and provide technical training to channel sales and services teams. This is a strategic position requiring a blend of cybersecurity knowledge, technical engineering skill, and strong business acumen.
What you will do as a Channel Sales Engineer:
- Collaborate with Channel Account Managers to support and enable Channel Partners across the DACH region.
- Meet with prospective and existing partners and customers to understand technical requirements and field inquiries.
- Plan and manage product evaluations, proof of value engagements, and access to partner solutions.
- Design integrated solutions aligned with customer and partner go-to-market strategies.
- Develop and present compelling demos and use-case-driven analytic presentations.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to enable partner presales and professional services teams.
- Promote partner engagement and user adoption across a variety of cybersecurity use cases.
- Address critical analytical, technical, and operational challenges in complex enterprise environments.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Product Management, Marketing, and Intelligence Services to align and optimise partner support processes.
- Travel as required within the DACH region (up to 50%).
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in a Pre-Sales Engineering or Consulting role, ideally in a cybersecurity or threat intelligence context.
- Previous experience working with or enabling Channel Partners (VAR/VAD, Systems Integrators, Technology Alliances).
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Strong technical knowledge in areas such as:
- SIEM
- DFIR
- Vulnerability Assessments
- Threat Intelligence
- Security Operations
- Threat Hunting & Research
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and modern security ecosystems.
- Proven success delivering product demos, managing proof-of-concept engagements, and enabling technical sales teams.
- Strong presentation and communication skills—able to engage both deep technical audiences and senior executives.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders and C-level decision-makers.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments.
- Proficiency in business-level English and German is required.
