Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Director of Platform.

Position is seated in the cities listed on the req. This is a hybrid position.

There is no Visa sponsorship or Visa transfers for this role.

This leadership role oversees and executes Application support for the Data Science and Application Security. This exciting role oversees a team that is responsible for incident/change/problem management, alert management, vulnerability management, user support, control management including transformation. It also oversees a team that supports Application Security, including incident/change/problem management.

We are looking for a leader that can drive operational efficiencies  by automating security controls and improving platform performance. You are a candidate with sound technical chops that can lead and mentor a team of security engineers and foster technical excellence and professional growth. 

We need someone who has experience with internally built applications built on Linux and Windows platforms that pull data from various information security, cyber security, and information technology tools. These tool providing analytics on that data and consumable information for making business decisions at all levels of an organization. You’ll have sound exposure to re to Application Security Controls and Best Practices and prior experience with or managing Application Security Tools Platform.

In this role you will:

Manage a team of site reliability engineering managers and SRE leads

Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities

Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders

Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans

Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices

Provider operational applications support for critical platforms of Cybersecurity

Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers

Identify financial management and strategic resourcing

Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives

Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent

Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation (including observability)

Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers

Lead team to achieve objectives

Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums

Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership

Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

Experience or knowledge of Securiti AI, RSA Archer, and Hadoop experience

Experience or knowledge of Threadfix, AVR, BlackDuck, Checkmarx

Experience or knowledge of database, compute, middleware, and UI technologies

Experience managing a prior production support organization

Experience with ITIL

Platform Management experience to include on prem, Internal / External PaaS and SaaS

Vendor relationship management experience

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
