We're seeking someone to join our Web Application Security team as a API Security Engineering Lead in Network Security to drive the engineering, deployment, and operations of solutions pertaining to API Discovery, Inventory, and Security for the Firm's internet facing APIs.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Lead Cybersecurity Engineering position at Vice President level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist cyber expertise and creating solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Engineering, deployment, and operations of solutions pertaining to API Discovery and Security

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate API Discovery & Security with Asset Inventory & SDLC

  • Integrate WAF solution with the API Security solution.

  • Lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and systems.

  • Develop, implement, and revise relevant policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and methodologies to meet security requirements.

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of metrics and outcomes.

  • Availability for weekend and on-call support on a rotation basis and holiday coverage.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.

  • 8+ years of technology experience with at least 3 years in cybersecurity.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge of APIs, network security, DevSecOps Practices.
