Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced IAM Operations Assistant Manager to join our internal IAM team to support the business in all IAM related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IAM processes and tools, with a particular emphasis on understanding SailPoint, CyberArk and being able of manage stakeholder expectations. This person would work closely with our service provider to make sure they comply with our SLAs and would report directly to our IAM Manager.
- Be the point of contact for the business for all IAM related matters.
- Collaborate with programmes and projects to help deliver IAM solutions that meet the business need, including any client contractual security requirements and support any transition to BAU.
- Drive, plan, and execute IAM service improvement roadmaps and technology enhancements.
- Assess, design, and implement sustainable operating processes.
- Continually analyse processes, documentation, and workflows through regular dialogue with business stakeholders performing security, operations, and human resource related duties, develop gap analysis and identify and prioritize process improvements based on current risk of components adding professional insight.
- Build IAM playbooks and documentation and work with business stakeholders to implement continuous improvements.
- Assess current applications and architecture to ensure current implementations align with industry guidelines, best practices, and business approved standards.
- Support the supplier during incidents managing clients and team expectations along the way.
- Be able to propose and challenge technical scope with stakeholders where relevant.
- Support onboarding, training and mentoring other staff.
You must:
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience working in the IAM field and supporting services underneath.
- Understand Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions and support requirements aligned with these solutions.
- Knowledge of security concepts and technologies in the wider Identity and Access management space (Logical Access Controls, LDAP ,RBAC, Authentication solutions, PKI concepts, etc.)
- Hands on experience and knowledge in enabling IAM controls securing digital products/solutions in the Cloud (e.g. in AWS, Azure and Google).
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to adapt communication style to explain technical concepts to different people within an organisation whether advising stakeholders, directing teams, or sharing experiences.
- Experience of successfully working in a fast paced, customer service/regulated environments, delivering high quality information security services.
- Be calm in challenging situations, able to navigate through complex security problems to find the root cause and a balanced outcome.
It would be advantageous if you can demonstrate some, or all of:
- Professional presentation with strong people skills at all levels across the firm.
- Able to gain credibility with senior staff and the trust of all staff.
- Any technical security certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, AWS, SAN GIAC, Azure, GCP).
