STV is currently seeking a Security Development Manager for various locations to be a part of our Transportation and Infrastructure Division. The ideal candidate will be a highly capable security professional with a proven track record of physical and operational security program development, implementation, and management.  The selected candidate will provide technical expertise to our clients and internal project stakeholders in system security program development, security operations consulting, and electronic and physical security design services for various projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in security to clients and team members using a collaborative approach to project delivery.

  • Participate in the development of security programs, plans, policies, and procedures as required to assist our clients in developing industry-leading security programs.

  • Support clients in gaining, monitoring, and maintaining maturity in enterprise risk management (ERM) based upon recognized models and/or frameworks.

  • Conduct Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessments (TVRA) training and exercises, incident response plan development, and secure architecture design.

  • Ethically represent STV’s security consulting capabilities to our clients throughout client interactions and operations.

  • Review design drawings for compliance to project security requirements.

  • Conduct audits related to design, construction or condition assessments based upon established industry standards and or National/Local code.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressive security consulting experience with knowledge of the security requirements within a public transit environment.

  • Highly effective in all manners of communications including a demonstrable ability to write technical content and reports.

  • Thorough knowledge of the practices, and procedures of security programs, physical and electronic security engineering design, construction, operation, and maintenance.

  • Demonstrated experience applying various risk assessment methodologies to rail and transit, education facilities, healthcare, aviation, and/or other sector specializations.

  • Knowledge of principles and practices of security management and the development of security programs that align with applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.

  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as both a client and a consultant.

  • IAPSC Certified Security Consultant preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate or agency security program support or management, law enforcement, or military experience.

  • A bachelor’s degree in security systems, security management, engineering, business, or another related field; and

  • Security, Law Enforcement, or applicable Military Training courses desirable.

  • Experience with Microsoft Word®, Excel®, Outlook®, Visio®, PowerPoint®, and SharePoint®

  • Self-motivated, must work well with others.

Please note that the final salary offered for any position may be outside of this published range based on many factors, including but not limited to geography, education, experience, and/or certifications.

Compensation Range:

$106,908.24 - $142,544.33
