We are looking for a GRC Software Development and Customer Deployment SME – Casual (MTS Casual III- Systems Engineering). Aerospace on-site support is required to provide the NASA Glenn Research Center and other Aerospace customers with advanced expertise for further architecture, development, integration, deployment, and testing of Aerospace’s CHARIOT strategic planning software tool suite. This requires direct work with Aerospace’s software architecture team at GRC. Other work may include providing additional support to GRC and other customers in the form of data analysis, utilization and integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools, and directly interfacing with various customers. The on-site Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be leading the deployment process for CHARIOT implementations at GRC and potentially other customer sites.
Work Model
This is a part-time casual position based in Cleveland, Ohio. Offering a hybrid work model that combines 1-2 regular onsite workdays and remote flexibility as the business needs allow.

What You’ll Be Doing
- The primary customer for this work is the NASA Strategic Planning and Integration directorate and the Glenn Research Center (GRC)
- This role will fit within the Human Exploration & Spaceflight group within the Aerospace Corporation.
- The primary function of the role is to provide an on-site Aerospace Subject Matter Expert (SME) that will lead integration and deployment of Aerospace’s CHARIOT tool.
- Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as needed.
What You Need to be Successful – MTS Casual III- Systems Engineering
Minimum Requirements:
- Applicable STEM degree from an accredited program is required and subject to review
- 12+ years of experience in software architecture, development, integration, and deployment is desired.
- 12+ years of experience in directly interfacing with multiple customers across a wide range of technical areas and industries is desired.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills working with a federal agency
- Travel not expected but could be possible as needed based on applicant’s availability.
- This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

- Automation of testing and/or verification & validation for various software tools
