How you will contribute
In this role, you’ll drive strategic initiatives that protect and empower our global organization. From developing robust security frameworks to enhancing our IT infrastructure and employee experience, your work will directly contribute to the success of the business.
Security & Risk Management
- Develop security policies and procedures to protect the organization’s data and assets.
- Perform risk management by identifying, assessing, and mitigating information security risks and threats.
- Leading the response to security incidents, including disaster recovery planning.
- Ensuring the organization complies with relevant information security standards and best practices.
- Enhance security awareness by promoting a culture of security awareness within Trialbee through training and communication.
- Align security strategies with business goals and budgets, and plan for future security needs.
- Assist compliance and quality assurance teams with third-party due diligence, audit and assurance exercises.
IT Leadership & Governance
- Lead the IT organization, including technology strategy and execution, considering required quality, safety and cost levels.
- Oversee the inventory and lifecycle of company devices and software licenses.
- Collaborate with the Head of People & Business Operations to align IT strategy with broader organizational priorities, including employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute an IT roadmap that supports company growth, digital transformation, and improved collaboration.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance productivity and create a seamless employee IT experience.
- Partner with other departments to identify and address technology needs.
- Monitor and control IT budgets, vendor relationships and service contracts.
- Deliver training sessions and resources to empower employees to use IT systems and tools effectively.
Infrastructure & Operations
- Design, implement, and maintain the organization’s corporate technology infrastructure.
- Ensure the network and cloud infrastructure is secure with uninterrupted access for remote and office-based employees.
- Manage day-to-day escalations and ensure service levels are adhered to.
- Ensure the organization complies with relevant laws and regulations regarding data privacy, security, and technology.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure IT system resilience.
Who are you?
- 7+ years of progressive IT management experience, ideally in a remote-first or global organization. Including 3+ years in a security leadership role.
- Proven experience managing security and IT operations, infrastructure, cloud solutions, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity standards, best practices, regulatory requirements and risk management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, from planning to execution.
- Experience with Digital Transformation, Data & AI, and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Strategic thinking with a problem-solving mindset
- Master’s degree or certifications like CISSP, CIO, or PMP are a plus.
