The Role
Development of software applications, automation of business processes, deployment and configuration across variety of frameworks, runtimes, libraries and languages such as, Node.JS, React.JS, Next.JS, Typescript, Python, Spring Boot etc.
· Architect and design software applications and integrations with wide variety of tools such as, distributed code repositories (GitHub, GitLab etc.), artifact management (JFrog, Nexus etc.), CI/CD (ArgoCD, Jenkins etc.), SAST/DAST (aqua, brinqa, checkmarx etc.), Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, OpenShift etc.), Observability (Telemetry, Elastic etc.).
· Automation of business processes around Infrastructure deployment and configuration through a variety of frameworks, automation technologies, languages and tools primarily Terraform, Ansible, CHEF, Puppet, Salt Stack etc.
· Contribute and provide input and/or direction for the overall development processes and development operations (DevSecOps), throughout system/software development lifecycle.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
1. Azure Infrastructure Management
Design, deploy, and manage high available secure and scalable infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices for securing cloud infrastructure.
Implement, and manage cloud-native applications across various platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud applications and services
2. Automation and Scripting
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or other scripting languages for infrastructure
Automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
3. Provisioning and configuration.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for automated and consistent deployments.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
4. Reliability
Establish and implement best practices for reliability, including service level objectives (SLOs), error
budgets, and service level indicators (SLIs). Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and addressing reliability bottlenecks.
5. Incident Management
Participate in incident response and resolution, working closely with development and operations
teams.
Implement effective monitoring and alerting to detect and respond to incidents proactively.
Monitor application performance and implement necessary optimizations for efficiency and scalability
Provide support for cloud applications and services, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
6. Security and Compliance
Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce security best practices for Azure resources.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to reliability and security.
7. Collaboration and communication
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and QA, to enhance
system reliability.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders about system status, incidents, and improvements.
Document technical solutions, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
Successful candidates will have a subset of the following skills.
· Automation - Knowledge and Development experience on at least any one of these tools: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet or Salt Stack
· Design, Development and implementation of the automation using Azure devops , AWS Devops , Opensource Devops and services developed in various Private (VMware, Nutanix, OpenStack etc.) and Public (Azure, AWS, GCP etc.) cloud platforms.
· Knowledge of Linux shell scripting/ Windows PowerShell scripting
· Knowledge of monitoring and logging frameworks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack for observability
· Understanding of application performance management (APM) tools like New Relic or Dynatrace
· Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps for project management
· Basic understanding of database management systems, including both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
· Relevant cloud certifications
· Basic knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and load balancers
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience on Microsoft Azure as DevOps Engineer or AWS Devops Engineer similar role (3-6 years of
experience).
